1. Respect and Safety
Village is built on trust between neighbors. Treat everyone with respect. Harassment, discrimination, threats, or abuse are not tolerated. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these standards.
2. Listings and Items
Only list items you are permitted to share. Items must be accurately described and in the condition you state. Prohibited items include weapons, hazardous materials, illegal goods, and anything that violates local laws.
3. Borrowing and Lending
Borrowers agree to return items on time and in the same condition. Lenders agree to honor accepted requests and communicate clearly. Disputes should be reported through the app so we can help resolve them fairly.
4. Payments and Fees
All transactions are processed through Village. Do not arrange off-platform payments to avoid fees; this undermines trust and protection for everyone. Our fees help us maintain the platform, verification, and support.
