Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the VillageConnect Local application (display name 'Village'), the website villageconnectapp.com, and all related services (collectively, the 'Platform'), operated by IAM Talent Co. ('we,' 'us,' or 'our'). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

VillageConnect Local provides a platform that connects users with local rental listings. The App acts solely as a venue; we are not a party to any agreements entered into between users.

Registration: You may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. Age Restriction: You must be at least 18 years old to use this App.

You agree not to use the App to: • Violate any laws or regulations. • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content. • Harass, abuse, or harm another person. • Upload viruses or malicious code. • Attempt to reverse engineer the App.

Ownership: You retain ownership of content you post (photos, listings, reviews). License: By posting content, you grant VillageConnect Local a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, publicly display, and distribute your content on the App. Moderation: We have the right (but not the obligation) to remove any content that violates these Terms.

Fees: Certain features may require payment. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Processing: Payments are processed via third-party gateways (e.g., Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay). We do not store your full credit card information.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

You acknowledge and agree that using the Platform to interact with other users, arrange meetups, and rent physical items involves inherent risks. We do not run background checks on all users, nor do we inspect the safety, quality, or legality of listed items. You assume all risks associated with dealing with other users, including but not limited to, the risk of physical injury, illness, theft, or property damage. IAM Talent Co. acts strictly as a software facilitator and is not a party to any rental agreement. We are not liable for the actions, items, or negligence of any user.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VillageConnect Local and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
